Where has the time gone? ... Well, it has given us a moment to explore how music can connect with children in schools and people in the health care system, through www.musicality.ca. Now we are busy as community minstrels. Sherry is working in five facilities for the aged, providing musical therapy. Jim has found a niche with "men's groups" in retirement residences and long term care homes. It is a welcome surprise and a comforting thought to find ourselves making a difference in our community. The summer is coming and should be filled with wonderful experiences. Watch the "Tour Dates" for public performances. Keep growing green and healthy - look after yourselves and one another. Looking forward to seeing you out and about, musically speaking.

Hello everyone – Happy Day when Jim ‘n’ I can play a song with others singing. Jim ‘n’ I hope you have had a memorable summer. The summer schedule for Jim ‘n’ I was full of variety and traveling is always enhanced by scenery and hopes of seeing friends and family, and making new friends, along the way. Jim’n’I in another guise, through www.musicality.ca continue to enjoy exploring music “beyond performance”. Jim and Sherry are again preparing to partner with school teachers to integrate music with the curriculum in the classroom. We have some great memories of our personalized singing telegrams. The nursing homes have been responding well to the music Sherry and Jim have been separately offering. From all reports, the “Minstrels’ Meridian - Calm” CD continues to have a positive effect, relieving stress in all walks of life. It is available at three locations here in Thunder Bay: Celebrations, Organic Garden Café, and Corans Music Store and can also be ordered through our www.musicality.ca site where samples of each track can be heard and enjoyed. Jim 'n' I sincerely hope you all take good care of yourselves and each other and look forward to seeing many of you in the coming months.

Happy New Year all! Jim 'n' I are excited about the new CD called "Minstrels' Meridian~Calm". Featuring Jim's beautiful guitar work, the instrumental CD displays songs of rich melody and wonderfully comforting rhythms. Here is medicinal music wrapped up in one nice package. With the expansion of our work in music here in Thunder Bay, Jim could see a need for some tranquil music to provide a quiet space for music lovers. Happy Spring! With the snow almost gone, Jim 'n' I are busy booking a summer schedule full of music. Check the tour listings regularly as confirmations / updates are pending. Jim is very excited that his instrumental recording project is finally in the post production phase, and is looking forward to offering this CD to you soon. Involvement in education through music in the schools, plus a variety of musical therapy contracts ( www.musicality.ca ), continue to offer opportunities to enrich our lives as well as our community.

The weather has turned seasonably cold and snowy as Jim 'n' I head into a busy month of music before Christmas. Jim 'n' I will be sharing the spirit of the season with lots of carols, some of which are recorded on our new Christmas CD. We look forward to singing with you, and wish you the comfort of family and friends to warm your heart and hearth.

After the whirlwind western spring tour, the pace has continued through the "summer that wasn't". Whoever had the heat sure wasn't sharing. With the dust just about settled, updates are promised. Jim 'n' I thank you, dear friends new and old, for your kind patience. Please stay tuned.

Jim 'n' I are in the middle of our tour of Western Canada. So far, we've had a great time performing to audiences from across Northwestern Ontario and Manitoba. We've been very fortunate with the support and encouragement offered by special people along the way.  An offer of unlimited lodging has made our stay in this area most comfortable. Stay tuned for more dates out west!
